| Citadelle Gin Original is a pioneer of French craft gin, produced by Maison Ferrand in the Cognac region. It is based on French wheat neutral spirit distilled in traditional, direct-fired Charentais copper pot stills. Nineteen carefully chosen botanicals – including juniper, coriander, lemon and orange peel, cardamom, fennel, violet, iris, star anise and Sichuan pepper – are added via a patented progressive infusion method. The nose is bright and aromatic, with juniper, citrus and herbal spice. On the palate Citadelle is dry, refined and expressive, balancing zesty citrus with spice and delicate floral notes.
