Faiveley Bourgogne blanc Chardonnay – An experience for true connoisseurs
Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Faiveley is a benchmark introduction to white Burgundy and is matured for several months in the cellars of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The bouquet offers citrus, white flowers and juicy pear, rounded out by a touch of butter and vanilla from partial barrel ageing. On the palate the wine is dry, harmonious and medium-bodied, with good volume and well-balanced acidity. The fruit profile is clear and precise, supported by a subtle chalky minerality. The finish is surprisingly long and marked by fresh citrus and floral notes. A versatile Chardonnay that works just as well as an aperitif as it does with fish, poultry, salads or relaxed bistro-style dishes.
