| Belleville Rully blanc 1er Cru La Fosse comes from a Premier Cru site in Rully whose name refers to a natural hollow that forms the source of the Thalie river. The vines grow on clay‑limestone soils in mid‑slope position and produce a Chardonnay with impressive power and depth. On the nose La Fosse offers aromas of white flowers, citrus, ripe apple and stone fruit, backed by a clear, chalky minerality. On the palate the wine is full and round yet driven by a fresh, saline streak, with subtle oak and a creamy texture. Its structure and concentration give it notable ageing potential. The long finish brings together fruit, spice and minerality in an elegant finale.
