Ch. Plince Pomerol – A Real Delight from Pomerol
Château Plince is a classic merlot-dominated estate in Pomerol, located not far from Château Nenin. Vines rooted in gravel and deep clay with iron-rich subsoils are planted mainly with merlot and cabernet franc, with a small share of cabernet sauvignon. The wine offers aromas of ripe cherry, plum and dark berries with hints of licorice, violet and subtle oak spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied, supple and concentrated, with fine tannins and a velvety texture. Its elegant length and charming fruit make it a delightful match for lamb, veal, poultry and flavourful vegetable dishes. With some time in the glass it gains even more complexity and silky charm.
