Château Plaisance Bordeaux superieur 2016, 1,5l Magnum (aus 6er Krt)

BrandChâteau Plaisance
RegionEurope - France - Bordeaux
CategoryWines - Red wine

For connoisseurs: Ch.Plaisance Bordeaux supérieur from Bordeaux

The château’s architecture dates back to the 1780s, and the vineyards are already recorded on an estate map from 1753. Set on distinctive “palus” alluvial soils near the Margaux border, Château Plaisance was revitalized under Jean-Louis and Isabelle Chollet with a strong focus on vineyard precision and classic Bordeaux craftsmanship. The blend is Merlot-led, completed by Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Petit Verdot, with maturation in French oak. Expect cherry and dark berries, subtle spice and gentle toast; the palate is juicy, rounded and well-structured, with polished tannins, fresh lift and a long finish. Great with roast meats, lamb, braises, barbecue and aged cheese.
