Michele Chiarlo Barolo Cannubi: The essence of true craftsmanship
Michele Chiarlo’s Barolo Cannubi comes from one of the most renowned crus of the appellation, with limestone marls and sandy layers that give finesse and lift. The bouquet is intense and aristocratic, offering small red fruits, liquorice, sweet tobacco and hints of cedar and dried flowers. On the palate the wine is enveloping and rich yet finely detailed, with silky tannins framing the fruit. Bright acidity keeps the structure taut and drives a long, elegant finish. Notes of spice, mint and earth emerge with aeration. A classic, age‑worthy Barolo to serve with mushroom dishes, roasted meats, game and mature cheeses.
