Discover the Character of Prieur Montrachet
Prieur Montrachet Grand Cru is one of the great white icons of Burgundy. Chardonnay vines grow on the legendary slopes of Montrachet, where thin, stony limestone soils produce dense and multi-layered wines. The bouquet reveals complex aromas of yellow fruits, apricot and citrus, lifted by sweet spice, toasted notes and delicate floral nuances. On the palate the wine is powerful yet perfectly balanced, with a creamy texture, deep concentration and finely chiselled acidity. Oak is seamlessly integrated, supporting the structure without dominating. A striking, salty minerality drives the impressive, very long finish. This Grand Cru is a majestic partner for lobster, refined fish dishes, poultry in truffle sauce or well-aged hard cheeses.
