Ch.Beaulieu Comtes de Tastes Bordeaux Supérieur – A true delight from Bordeaux
Château Beaulieu Comtes de Tastes is located in Salignac on a clay-limestone plateau to the north-east of Bordeaux. The 20-hectare vineyard is planted mainly with Merlot, completed by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which add backbone and spice. Grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks and the wine spends around ten months in French oak. The bouquet delivers aromas of blackcurrant, plum and cherry, wrapped in hints of vanilla, roast coffee and gentle toast. On the palate it is medium-bodied, smooth and well balanced, with supple tannins and juicy fruit, making this a characterful yet very approachable Bordeaux Supérieur for everyday meals with meat or cheese.
