CategoryWines - Red wine

Château Tour Bayard is a family-run estate in Montagne-Saint-Émilion, one of the satellite appellations of Saint-Émilion. Vines on clay-limestone slopes are planted mainly with merlot, supported by cabernet franc and malbec. The bouquet shows black cherry, plum and blackberry with licorice, sweet spice and a touch of espresso. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, rounded and lively, with ripe, velvety tannins and balancing freshness. A long, fruity-spicy finish makes it a versatile partner for stews, grilled meats, baked dishes and flavourful cheeses. Served at moderate temperature, it shines in relaxed, convivial settings.
