| Pannobile from Claus Preisinger is an organically grown blend of blaufränkisch and zweigelt sourced from selected crus that form part of the Pannobile association around Gols. Vines rooted in calcareous soils and gravel terraces provide spice, depth and a cool, mineral backbone. Fermentation with native yeasts and ageing in used and larger barrels result in a silky-textured, layered red. The bouquet offers blackberry, blueberry and ripe plum alongside herbs, floral hints and subtle oak spice. On the palate Pannobile is juicy, precise and elegant, with fine, ripe tannins and lively acidity. Its long, spicy and mineral finish makes it a characterful partner for lamb, beef, game birds and sophisticated vegetable dishes. | |
