The nose reveals blackcurrants, ripe plums and blackberries, lifted by notes of violets, lavender, pencil shavings and a touch of tobacco. On the palate it is medium-bodied, juicy and precise, with linear, finely grained tannins. Lively, chalky acidity provides tension and lift.
