Château Le Gay
On the Pomerol plateau, where gravel and clay interlock like a mosaic, Château Le Gay has moved from legend to renewal: once the domain of the Robin sisters, it entered the orbit of Catherine Péré‑Vergé in 2002 and is now steered within Vignobles Parent under Henri Parent’s direction.
Around twelve hectares are worked plot by plot, with Merlot at the core and Cabernet Franc providing the edge. High-density planting, rigorous fruit thinning and hand harvesting aim for concentration without blur—Pomerol depth drawn with a fine point.
In the cellar, innovation serves detail: “vinification intégrale”, with fermentations carried out in barrel and temperatures tightly managed, pushes precision to the limit. New oak élevage builds structure and length, while the blend is calibrated to let the plateau speak first—modern tools, classic intent.Château Le Gay
