G'Vine

On a vineyard estate in France, G'Vine begins where gin rarely starts: with grapes. Created in 2006 by Jean‑Sébastien Robicquet at Maison Villevert in the Cognac region, the spirit’s base comes from Ugni Blanc, distilled repeatedly to an exceptionally pure neutral grape alcohol.

Botanicals are treated with almost perfumer’s precision. Juniper and spices such as coriander, cardamom and cubeb are distilled separately in copper, while the fleeting vine flower is captured fresh in a Florentine still—an aromatic technique inspired by fine fragrance making.

Only then are the individual distillates brought together for a final redistillation, shaping a poised Gin de France that feels both artisanal and modern. It’s terroir translated into method: careful maceration, tight cuts and a signature that is unmistakably French.
