Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Since 1970, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars in Napa Valley, Kalifornien has defined Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District, where volcanic soils and gravelly loams create power with poise. The estate entered history in 1976 at the Judgment of Paris, when a wine from the S.L.V. vineyard helped put Napa on the world stage.

Today, S.L.V. and Fay remain the core: well‑drained, predominantly volcanic profiles, warm days and cooling afternoon winds shape structure without heaviness. In 2024 the winery became the first in the appellation to earn Regenerative Organic Certified® status, underlining a long-term commitment to living soils.

Winemaking is quietly exacting—strict selection, gentle extraction and élevage in French oak tuned to vintage and parcel. After a partnership starting in 2007, Marchesi Antinori took full ownership in 2023, keeping the focus steady: elegance built from strength, not from excess.
