Stiegelmar Heideboden: The essence of true craftsmanship
Stiegelmar Heideboden is a dense yet refined red blend of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch from the sun-drenched plains east of Lake Neusiedl. Vines rooted in warm gravel and black earth deliver grapes with plenty of ripeness and depth. In the glass it shows a dark ruby colour with a bright rim. The bouquet is packed with blackberry and blueberry, joined by hints of Amarena cherry, liquorice and a touch of mocha. On the palate the wine is juicy and meaty yet polished, supported by ripe, fine-grained tannins and subtle barrique spice. Its powerful structure remains beautifully balanced and leads into a long, fruit-driven finish. A characterful partner for grilled meats, braised beef, hearty pasta dishes or mature hard cheeses.
