In the meanders of the Lot valley near Cahors, Clos Triguedina carries the Baldès family signature since 1830—a cornerstone of the region’s historic “Black Wine” culture. Jean‑Luc and Sabine Baldès lead the estate today, and since 2023 their daughter Juliette has joined to secure the next handover without losing momentum.
Malbec rules here, planted across stepped river terraces and carefully defined parcels where gravel, clay and limestone shift the rhythm from row to row. Work in the vineyard is meticulous and largely by hand, with strict selection to channel power into precision. In the cellar, native-yeast fermentations, gentle extraction and measured élevage in oak shape structure rather than spectacle.
