DiamAndes

At the foot of the Andes, where the Uco Valley turns altitude into freshness, the concept behind DiamAndes in Argentina feels architectural as much as viticultural.

Co-producer within the Clos de los Siete venture, the winery was founded by the Bonnie family in 2005 and opened in 2010. Vineyards rise to around 1,100 metres, on lean alluvial soils with marked day–night shifts, a natural setting for Malbec alongside Bordeaux varieties. The building itself is designed to sit within the Andean landscape, reflecting a respect-for-nature premise.

In the cellar, a French sensibility meets Andean intensity: strict selection, controlled extractions and élevage tailored to the vintage in oak and more neutral vessels. The result is Mendoza defined by height, precision and a quietly ambitious sense of place.
