Dragon de Quintus

Perched on Saint-Émilion’s limestone slopes, Dragon de Quintus carries the spirit of Château Quintus with its own, more immediate voice. After Domaine Clarence Dillon began assembling the estate in 2011 around the former Château Tertre Daugay and later integrated Château L’Arrosée, the vineyard became a coherent hillside mosaic of rock, clay seams and steep côtes. Merlot and Cabernet Franc are shaped by this relief, parcel by parcel.

As the second wine, “Le Dragon” follows the same discipline: strict selection, careful vinification and an élevage designed to build texture and balance rather than fragrance. Its name nods to the dragon statue that watches over the promontory—an emblem of protection and resolve.

Dragon de Quintus is not an afterthought; it is the elegant gateway to Quintus: a Saint‑Émilion expression where place, precision and quiet power meet.
