| Saint-Péray Les Potiers by Yves Cuilleron is a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne from parcels on gently sloping, south-west facing hillsides with gravelly alluvial soils. The grapes are hand harvested, gently pressed and aged for several months on fine lees in oak. The bouquet shows fresh citrus, mirabelle plum, white peach and a hint of candied lemon, with floral and subtly nutty notes. On the palate Les Potiers is juicy and lively, combining pure fruit, gentle spice and straight, mineral-backed acidity. A creamy texture is balanced by real tension, leading into a finish of lemon, yellow stone fruit and almond. A fresh, versatile Rhône white that pairs beautifully with seafood platters, grilled fish, roasted vegetables or soft cheeses. | |
