Domaine Pernot-Belicard
In the heart of Puligny-Montrachet in Burgundy, France, a new signature has grown from old roots at Domaine Pernot-Belicard. The family story reaches back into the 19th century, yet the label took its modern shape in 2008/09 when Philippe Pernot and his wife Christelle Bélicard stepped forward under their own name.
Across roughly six to eight hectares—including prized premier cru climats—the work is a finely tuned mosaic: strict yield control, hand harvesting and patient respect for the limestone spine of the Côte de Beaune. In the cellar, clarity matters more than technique: gentle pressing, native fermentations, élevage in pièces bourguignonnes with restrained oak, long on fine lees, sur lie, and only the bâtonnage the wine asks for.
The aim is not power but precision—Puligny rendered as stone, light and time, with craftsmanship felt in the quiet details.Domaine Pernot-Belicard
