Cantina Beato Bartolomeo da Breganze

On the foothills of the Altopiano di Asiago, in the rolling Veneto hills, Cantina Beato Bartolomeo da Breganze has united growers around Breganze since 1950. Founded on Valentine’s Day by 121 winegrowers, the cooperative carries the name of Bartolomeo da Breganze, a local Dominican and Bishop of Vicenza—an explicit nod to place and community.

At the centre is Breganze DOC, with the native Vespaiola as a signature grape, supported by a wide portfolio spanning still wines, sparkling styles and traditional passiti such as Torcolato. Today the cantina works with grapes from hundreds of members across a broad patchwork of sites, capturing the pedemontane belt’s shifting soils and microclimates. The result is a balance of regional authenticity and modern cellar discipline, built for consistency without losing the thread of origin.
